It's never which of the two cars is better, but it is which suits you better.
Pull up old reviews of each vehicle on youtube. Then look at each vehicles mechanical condition.

There is a lot to like about the RX300, but the wife and kids do not like the large turning radius. I deal with it, but it is a pain doing u-turns and some parking situations.
