Default can a bad oxygen sensor cause a misfire?

Last week I got a P1153 code so I sent off for a new Bank 2 Sensor 1 oxygen sensor, which should arrive in a few days. Then yesterday the CEL started blinking. Autozone says the codes are P1153,P1349 and P300,301,303,305. All three issues on Bank 1. CEL is back to a steady light now. That all three would come on at once seems strange.. I can see where a misfire could cause a bad O2 sensor, could it go the other way also?

A bad A/F sensor can cause a misfire. Not sure about the other way around. Generally try to fix the first code that appears.

Blinking light indicated a misfire, in your case all three front cylinders. Id definitely suspect the AF sensor(It could be telling the three front fuel injectors to run super lean, causing misfires..as it is sending inaccurate info to the computer). Swap it out...clear the codes...see from there.

More searching revealed the code 1349 indicated a bad oil control valve, which often throws P300 and A/F sensor codes. I installed a new valve today, a, $80 Bank 1 Dorman 917-214, so we will see...

I am also having the exact same issues. I took it to a shop for a diagnosis. I was told there is a good chance the 02 sensor is bad. Apparently its common for oil to fall on the 02 sensor messing up the a/f ratio giving us a misfire. They told me its a common issue. Please provide an update after you make your changes as I will also give one. Maybe we can help eachother out and get this taken care of...goodluck!

I can tell you that EVERY time I have had codes that included anything for an air fuel sensor, a new one 100% fixed it and all the other codes went went away. I have replaced them several times through the years.

The OCV seems to have been the bank one problem, since I replaced it there's been no problem back there. I ordered two a/f sensors for bank two but both failed so I spent the big bucks for a new Denso.
The parts people on eBay sell used stuff. They will take returns but keep reselling them until finally someone does not send it back. I am done buying used electronic stuff, if it works it is gone, the broken stuff is all that's left.
