okay here's where it gets a little difficult. you're going to rethread the base (see red arrow) using a tap set. use a vise grip and have someone hold the base. you should first drill and then rethread. use the drill bit and tap (the one that also looks like a drill bit) that is used for a 5mm x 0.8mm tap.

okay. i forgot to take pics of the install as i was doing it and now that my S2000 antenna is superglued on, i really don't want to remove it, so please bear with me as we do a little work using our imaginations!
pretend that the black piece (red arrow is pointing at it) is the stock outer plastic piece. this would be the stock piece that attaches from outside the body panel.

okay. now that that is clear, see the picture for how it all fits together.

now, attach the S2000 antenna to the base and slide everything into place on the side of the RX. determine the best fit. remove the assembly from the body panel and tape everything together after you remove the S2000 antenna. i also used silicone to increase the hold and reduce chances of leaking.

place a bead of silicone around the hold in the body panel and replace the entire assembly into place. (the S2000 antenna should not be on the assembly at this point because wind pushing against the antenna will cause the silicone not to form a very close seal). press the outer black plastic housing piece firmly against the body panel to form a tight seal. i used electrical tape to make sure there was no motion as the silicone dried. (you can always use goo-gone later to get rid of adhesive from the tape).

i also used a cable tie on the inside of the body panel to attach the antenna wire to anything in order to give it a TINY bit of downward tension increasing the tightness of the seal. do NOT pull!!! just a tad bit of downward tension will do!

attach the antenna plug to the stock receptor.

let the silicone dry for at least 24 hours BEFORE continuing this project.

after 24 hours and being sure that everything fits perfectly and is in place, place a bead of silicone around the bottom of the S2000 antenna mast and a drop of superglue on the threads of the S2000 antenna mast. twist into the antenna base. let this dry. you should avoid getting the silicone wet and it would be best to not drive around until this is fairly dry.

replace all the panels and you should be done!

Because my car stills is kickin it, and I want to perform this modification but am lacking pictures.

That's why. I think we need to be more supportive to each other. OP if you've still got pictures let me know please! I'd pay you a little bit if you wanted.
