How much water do you think is in the tank?
One way to try and remove it is to add 99% isopropyl alcohol to the gas tank and it will dissolve the water into solution and still be able to be combusted in the engine. This can be bought at Amazon. ISO Heet is essentially the same thing and can be bought at auto parts stores.
Do not use regular isopropyl from a drug store as it is already 70% alcohol/ 30% water so will not absorb much more water from the tank.

As mentioned, you can use HEET brand water remover found in stores. Up to a quart of E85 fuel to absorb the water if it is near by and/or if you are near a race track, get some methanol.
