Control blower motor - heat resister rx300

Could anyone confirm this: I ordered control blower motor for rx 300 - 2001
the part that came is 87165-22050.
The motor taken out of the car was 87165-22040.
Is 87165-22050 IS GOING TO FIT THE SAME AS 87165-22040?
Thank you.

The aftermarket version covers both part numbers, so very good chance that they are the same thing.

It will work. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...igh-speed.html
If you are a fatty and can't get in there to unscrew the old one you can just unclip the wires and clip them into the new unit. Then get some velcro or zip ties and just hang the thing out of the way, someplace where it won't rattle around.

The speed control unit needs to sit in a special position. The back of the controller sits is the air stream for cooling purpose. You can just hang it but expect shorter life.

I velcroed mine in an open space so the heat sink would be in open air. But it fell off after a while and clattered around on each bump.
