Is there a CHMSL LED Bulb?
The only bulb on my RX300 that burns out with any regularity is the Center High Mounted Stop Light (aka CHMSL). Is there an LED alternative, one that doesn't trip the 'bulb-out' indicator?

The problem can be with the connector being loose.

I switched all my taillights over to LED and my burned-out light indicator is always on which doesn't bother. I have found using Cree tail light bulbs there is bright as any 2016 or 2017 cars on the road today. I got them at DDM tuning 714-901-5080 Huntington Beach California. My normal taillights are as bright as my old brake lights in my brake lights are fantastically bright. I use the clear Cree boat for my backup lights and this is almost as bright as headlights making backup a lot easier at night. I also got HID headlights 5K and my fog lights HID 3K and there a trip to put in but I got done.

Salim: I don't understand. The bulb burns out; I replace it with a new one; it works until it burns out again. I don't think that a 'loose connector' is the answer.

Jab:
Incandescent bulbs have very low resistance when cold and as the current starts flowing heat and light is produced and the resistance goes up and it limits the current.
If the connector is bad, visually you may not see the flicker, but the current keeps spiking and that shortens the life of the bulb. Visually you can see the connector turn brown.

Let me revisit this thread because it still bothers me. Salim, when you say 'the connector is loose' do you mean the bulb in the socket, or the connection between the socket and the wiring harness?

In my case I thought the high mount brake bulb was repeatedly failing but it turned out one of the connectors in the socket was bad.
I think i put a piece of wire in there to fix the connection to the bulb

I have been using a led bulb from DDM tuning for 4 years now and no problems for center brake light.
As I said above I use their Cree tail lights red and they burn out about 2 to 3 years due to the brightness they are pushing the Cree chips to the max and they do work well.
I just heard there is a new set of taillights coming out from them in the next couple of weeks, I am waiting to see if there way to bright the ones I have now push the limit on brightness.

For me it was the bulb in the socket. The socket seemed to have partially melted/charred due to heat being generated {not a firm connection). All the was in the previous life.
