After 17 years of owning my '99 rx300, I've about had enough of having to press the unlock button TWICE to unlock all the doors. I put things in the back seat of my car a lot and it's a PITA if your hands are full and you grab the back door only to find it still locked. I know you can take it to the dealership to have this convenience feature changed through some fancy tool they have, but I would love to just do it at home if possible? Anyone ever done this?

You can buy Toyota Techstream on Amazon and then do it at home. But I would suggest just going to the dealer, if you have no use for the Techstream after this one change.
