Default AC Gurgle on Low

I got this car from a family member, and I am systematically going through all of its problems and fixing it. I am still confused as to why every time I fill the radiator reservoir to full, and have the AC on for a week or two the reservoir drops to almost empty. The fluid that goes back into the reservoir when the car warms up is much less than what I put in. The car does not overheat but the heat indicator is slightly above middle at times, and returns back to the middle eventually. When the AC is turned on to the first two levels (so basically on low) you can hear a random gurgling sound come and go. When the AC is on high the noise is not noticeable. I don't know if this is related. There is no fluid under the radiator but at times I see liquid below where the reservoir should be on the asphalt. I still cant see a leak anywhere in the reservoir itself and the engine bay is dry. Any ideas? Thank you for your feedback.

Please checkout the DIY on coolant change and follow instructions on how to remove air in the fill process.
