Default ECM does not see new knock sensors

Hi
I used 15 min hack repair of knock sensors. 0330 was gone and I had overdrive again. After 3 days I got both 0330 and 0325 codes. Bought 2 new knock sensors with the wire and connected them instead of old knock sensors. New knock sensors are connected to the wiring but are not installed on the motor. Old knock sensors are still in their places but not connected.
I'm doing this because I want to check my ECM, as it could have stopped seeing knock sensors after that hack method.
Pls advise if I am doing it correctly without actual installing the knock sensors on the motor and how can I check my ECM signal for knock sensors. Thanks

They might need the body to be grounded.
