Last night, my 2 year old set off the alarm with the panic button on the key. This morning the security light is flashing and the car will not start. Can someone please help me I need to get to work. Also, when I put the key in the door and turn left then right (I was told this would reset the security system) the windows roll down a bit but it does nothing to fix my problem. TIA

I think I would try arming the alarm from the outside with the keyfob, then disarm it with the keyfob. Worth a shot.

Since you don't state what year or vehicle you have, I'm going off the 'rx300' you put in your profile and moving the RX forum where you'll get a faster reply.

On different models, typically to reset after the panic button is pushed, you just need to lock and unlock the car using the key remote. Try that a couple of times.
