Remote will not lock driver's door
 

Hi everyone, here's a question:

Lately, the remote will not lock the driver's door, which in turn would cause the alarm to be disarmed.

If I lock the door from inside with the lock lever, and then press the remote button to lock, all the doors lock and the alarm is armed.

Remote unlock works w/o a problem, it's only the locking of the driver door that is messed up.

Any ideas what is wrong? Got a 2002.

Driver's door actuator is on the way out.

So unlocking is easier on the mechanism than locking?

I'll try LexMex's thread about taking the door apart and see if I can grease it up a little with white lithium grease.

Otherwise it's new mechanism right?

Anyone know the part #?

Easy fix... The RX I did was a 2002 so everything will be the same as the instructions below.
