Default Interior Cleaning

My RX300 is 13 years old and while it doesn't smell bad, it doesn't smell fresh. I was thinking of pulling the seats and shampooing the carpets. But is there anything else (other than the air cabin filter) that could contribute to that less than fresh smell? Duct work maybe?

Ok here is how to fix this, all you have to do is go to the store buy a can or two of lysol, (sent of your choice) turn on the rx, put the a/c on full blast, make sure it is not on recirculate and roll all the windows down, now open the hood, right under the wiper arms are 4 openings with tiny holes, now take that can and spray half of it in each one (if you bought 2 cans) and then spray the other in the last 2 vents. Let the air run for about 5-7 minutes then hit the recirculate button and let it run for another 5-7 minutes, next replace the cabin air filter behind the glove box, Congratulations you have now killed and removed any dirt or bacteria making your a/c smell! this worked wonders for me, good luck!
