Hello I have an 01 rx300 and the vehicle runs great except after warming up I get an intermittent lurching when going just off idle at part throttle. It almost feels like the trac control is shutting down the throttle. If I press harder on the gas peddle it goes away it doesn't happen all the time but it is annoying when it does. To top it off it does not trigger the CEL so I can't pull any codes to get an idea where to start. I believe it is the TPS but it would be nice to here if anyone else has had a similar problem. Any info would be appreciated. Dan

 

Is there a chance it is the ABS kicking in? These cars have issues with the reluctor rings breaking and doing weird stuff. If you think it's possible, pull the abs harness and see if it still does it.

 

welcome. There is a possibility that it could be a sticking idle air control valve (IACV).
If you attempt to recondition your existing one, remove the whole unit and attempt to actuate it with a 12V source while spraying it with carb cleaner. A new gasket will be required to prevent vac leaks.
