Default Oil leak, front of motor -not valve cover gasket

hello, lurker on these boards, second RX I've owned, familiar with these cars and a pretty good wknd wrench.
I have a small oil leak tha runs down the motor and drips off the pan, and you can trace the leak back to the front of the motor and what appears to be behind the exhaust manifold. Not as high up as the valve cover gasket. On the off chance it was the front bank gasket I did change it, and the oil filter as that is also in the same area. Stop the car and overnight a small amount of oil under the car the next day.

180k on car, no CEL, runs great otherwise wondering if the exhaust manifold is hiding something behind it or I am off base otherwise, but it does look wet back there.

Appreciate any comments. thanks.

Welcome to CL.

Instead of speculating, I suggest that you use simple green (or equivalent) and trace the source. I am **** when it gets to setting the torque right. Over an under, both cause a leak.

Mine continued to leak after changing both valve cover gaskets; turned out to be the cam seal.
