My 99 RX300 has a low groan to it upon start up. It resembles power steering groan in other cars I have had. I added the dextron to it but still have the groan. Not sure what to make of it. No CEL. No issues running. Just annoying and trying to head any issues off. Ay thoughts?

 

BTW, the RX has 227K on it. I did have the valve covers replaced. An oil change ago the shop put synthetic in it, but I changed it back to traditional oil. The RX has cut out a couple times at start up as if it lost power too but restarted and let it warm up and all was good.

 

Check if the accessory and the power steering belts are properly tensioned.
