The VSC and check engine lights came on today on my wife's 2002 RX 300. It threw 3 codes. Don't have them written down but they were the evaporative emmisions system codes.
I cleared the codes and immediately after doing so, the ABS and VSC lights come on and pulsate when applying the brakes. When driving no lights are on. They only come on when braking and stay on while the car comes to a stop.

About 20,000 miles or so ago, I notice a loud popping sound coming from underneath the vehicle when you turned the wheel far to the right or left. I thought it was the CV joint or boot. Checked that and it looked ok. I did have brakes done a few months ago and had their mechanic look at it. Everything checked out ok

From my limited research it sounds like it might be the ABS ring on the axle. Anything else it could be?

Just found out the rear driver's tire only had 14 psi in it. Blew it up to 32 psi and the problem disappeared. No more VSC or ABS lights flashing while braking. Must have had something to do with the ABS sensor.

That's a new one to me. Makes you think the diameter of the tire must have made the computer think one wheel was spinning faster than the others. Glad to hear it was that easy to fix.
