Congratulations.

It must have set you back financially a bit. I am sure it will prove a worthwhile investment.

The money that dbui spent, can easily be close to 1/6 to 1/4 of the street value of the vehicle. But then who can trust how the street vehicle has been maintained.

When I get to be dbui's situation, I would do the same.

Congrats!

I actually just passed 200k on Saturday, driving back to Long Island.

Also on original engine and trans, in the family since 2002 (2nd owner).

Talking 2001 rx 240,000

I did the same at 200,000 and am happy I did. I am the original owner and can't imagine parting with my RX. As a single female with limited car knowledge, I have had to rely on mechanics I trust. I am about to turn 240,000 on mine and it is showing a little wear and tear, but all in all it is still great!
