Default Lost all keys for 01 RX300, need a blank chip for the ECU

Hi all. I lost the master key to my 2001 RX 300. Security light stays blinking no matter what I do. I have a couple of keys without the fobs that I can use but none of them are currently programmed into the ECU. Called Lexus and they want to replace the ECU and have new keys made, etc etc, several hundred dollars. I was reading on here that a user named Mauser could mail a blanked out (virginized?) IC chip to solder onto the ECU to program new keys, but for some reason I am unable to send him or anyone a direct message on this site (since I'm a new user?)

Anyways, if someone knows where I could get the chip for the ECU already wiped and ready to program new keys, please let me know. I'm capable of soldering, have a background in electrical engineering. Thanks in advance.

one option is to buy a used eco with matching Key. Next level is getting cylinders that match the key.

Another new member, welcome to Club Lexus!

So many great posts already above and is the standard way for 99.9% of people.

However, if you have a background in EE and can solder smd chips no problem you can maybe DIY if you think you want to try it- should be piece of cake for you.
In the link below, I already spec's out a replacement eeprom chip that can replace the original obsolete chip and Mauser put up the "virginize" BIN file if you wanna give it a try.
So it would just be a matter of uploading the provided BIN file to the smd eeprom chip if you have a programmer- providing it works on your year & model- only one way to find out. lol

I tried to send you a message. Guess you are too new to use the messaging system. I can get you a chip, just don't want to put my contact info up here.
