My 99 rx300 (85K) shifter is sticking in park, plus not locking in park (rolling back and clicking) Now I have to start it in Nuetral. Has anyone else experienced this?
How do I go about adjusting the shifter linkage? I looked at the shifter mechanism inside and see no visible adjustment. I assume there must be linkage conections at the transmission. Does anyone know how and where to make such an adjustment?

 

I'll let you know if I come up with an adjustment for the linkage - will have to do some diging for that. Also check all the mounts for the engine and transfercase. Obvisouly if one of the mounts have come loose, bent, etc. you will know something else may need attention.
