Default 2000 RX 300, Code P1349, P0300, P0301, P0303 & P0305

2000 RX 300, with 186,000 miles on it, I'm getting the following Codes P1349, P0300, P0301, P0303 & P0305.

Misfire of cylinders 1, 3 & 5. I'm assuming the variable timing (VVT) solenoid is shot. Should I replace both or just clean filter?

Tom.

Could start with the filters and go from there. I dont think the solenoids are expensive but sometimes they are a pain to remove.
Probably in the sticky diy's

When mine threw a code P1349 (bank one, firewall side), I removed and inspected it. It look fine, but after researching the forum, I decided to replace both of them. Purchased mine at NAPA, $65 for one and $61 for the other. They were simple to replace. There is good info here on the forum, just use the search feature and you will find all that you need. I don't know about the other codes, maybe they are caused by the P1349. I noticed my car acting a little funny just before it threw the P1349 code. seemed like it was stumbling on take off. As soon as the light came on, I drove straight home and fixed it the next day.
