RX300 Remote opens all doors but closes none!

I changed the selonoids in all four door actuators. The result was that I can manually open and close all four doors by pressing the armrest button while seated in vehicle; I can only open all four doors in two stages as usual using the remote from outside the vehicle; and the outside key locks are completely unresponsive (do not open or close using key.

Where did I fail in the replacement of the selenoids? What should I do to get the remote and door locks to respond correctly. Help!

Did you replace them with original Lexus actuators (the whole thing) or did you do the "helper actuator" fix?

Keith: I replaced the selenoids with the one recommended in the forum sold by someone on ebay.
I opened the selenoid case, replaced the selenoid, and sealed the case again.

The doors work correctly when I use the interior door lock switches on both sides and the remote opens all doors remotely. This tells me the selenoids are working.

What does not work is when I try to close the doors using the remote (no reaction) or inserting the key in the doors (no reaction).

It sounds to me like it is something in the drivers door. Are you sure the link from the drivers door ouside key lock is installed correctly? Also, I am assuming you are trying to lock all 4 doors with the drivers door CLOSED. They will not lock if the drivers door latch doesn't give the signal to the VSM (vehicle security module) that they are all 4 closed ALL the way (second catch). Is there any possibilty that anything was messed up in the drivers door latch contact strips when you had it apart to install the motors. (wouldn't think so since the locks all work from drivers master switch) The contact strips in the drivers door latch interact with a lot of other things through the VSM.
