Anyone encountered the same problem I have. I bought my RX300 in Feb 2002. Now it seems that each time I move off from stationary or pick up speed from 2-5mph I hear creaking noise.
I last heard from a friend that this is a common problem in Toyota cars including Lexus. If anyone has a similar problem, please share them with me. Thank you very much..

I noticed that too and it only happens after im stationary and it makes that snapping, cracking sound when i reverse or go straight from a parking spot. I guess its normal.

mine only does it when it is cold outside, and mine also started the ghostly little dash rattle that no one has figured out what it is

Is the creaking noise the rear struts maybe? They have been known to creak on toyotas. Mine do, and it's much more evident in cold weather especially over speed bumps. That is one of the things I am going to have checked out (fixed) at my next dealer visit. That will be after Christmas.
