Question 2002 RX300 Ball Bearings

I had my transmission replaced by an transmission specialist in my area. It still had a sound and they replaced the front planet assembly a second time. I picked up my car drove for a day and now the front right wheel bearing is shot. They said that it is not from something they did.
Question, is it possible that when the nut on the hub was replaced, and was not tighted correctly (213 ft-lbs), could this have caused the ball bearings to have a problem?
Note:There was no noise or sound prior to this whatsoever.
Thank you for any comments

I have a friend who had the same thing happen a # of years ago. No noise at all before they worked on the transmission and had the bearing noise when he got it back. Got worse and worse and he finally traded the car. Was a Chrysler but he was a little old lady with it. Was absolurtely immaculate. They claimed it couldn't be anything they did. I worked on cars all my life and you understand why I still work on my own. They will ALWAYS say they didn't do it! No, I didn't operate that way! It is not only possible, but pretty likely that they did something that damaged the bearing. There are a # of things you can do in removing the axle to remove the transmission that can damage it. Problem is, PROVING it! I would say 2-3% of the mechanics are honest enough to say they damaged something while working on your car, the rest simply get away with it by lying about it (and sticking with it). I saw many mechanics do damage and say nothing about it. They didn't want to have to pay for it. I worked on every car as though it was my own, a principal I learned by example from my parents.

code58...sad, bu true, and another reason I do as much as I possibly can, myself.

Not looking forward to a new water pump/timing belt/all other belts this autumn...but at least I know it's done, and if anything goes wrong, I know it was me who did it.

Kelly, it's not that bad if you go into it armed with all of the tips that you can find here or I would be willing to give you some that would help you if you haven't already done it on a 1MZ-FE engine.
