Poor Gas Mileage on my RX 300
I had a 1999 Lexus RX 300 and had great luck with it. I averaged just over 20 MPG and sold it with about 170,000 miles on it. I bought another 1999 Lexus RX 300 with only 90,000 miles on it and have had it for a couple of months now. It seems to be running fine and I cant tell that there is anything wrong but I am averagin around 18 MPG. Just wondering if anyone has any tips on improving the MPG.

Are both RX's AWD or FWD?
What type of driving do you do?
Generally I'd suggest you clean the MAF, throttle body, check air pressure, air filter, etc. But, 18 mpg doesn't sound like an issue to me (unless you are talking about highway driving). Keep in mind, that winter blend fuel is different than summer fuel. So if you got 20 mpg with your old RX in the summer, you will not get 20 mpg with the "new RX" or even "old RX" in the winter.
