Have you noticed this?

I remember when I was buying an RX, that every one I looked at was missing this piece on the passenger side rear door. And, I mean literally every RX300. I was wondering if any of you are missing this cover?

BTW: Yes, I just randomly remembered this, and figured I would ask.

I still have mine on my 2002 RX300.

Still have mine.

still hqve mine

Mhmm, that's weird. Literally every RX300 I looked at was missing this piece.
Or, maybe I'm just going crazy!

EDIT: I found two RX300 ad's that have a picture that show this missing:

Mine is missing

Mine was missing. I found the part was missing about a year ago, when I decided to do some DIY.
I used to be loyal Lexus customer. I always brought my car to the dealer for maintence according to schedule. If you did not mention about about this problem, I might blame the mechanics for their careless.

Yep, that's probably it Hyper. JK That is uncanny, must be a flaw in the mold for the part and it didn't fit quite tight enough to stay on. Clearly it's a problem with that one part for more than a couple of people.

Mine on the passenger side rear door occasionally likes to come loose and I find it on the floor (usually because of closing the door causing it to come loose).

Interesting -- this summer my daughter was nannying for two preschoolers and driving them around in her RX. They kept pulling those exact pieces off, but fortunately they threw them on the floor rather than out the window. Now that the little monsters aren't dirtying up her car, the pieces are staying in place!!

Mine has it as well.

Drivers side rear on mine has been coming off since the car was new. The dealer glued it on at the first warrantee claim, but recently it came off and it's now lost. No kids to blame it on; it's rare I have rear seat passengers.

mine are still there..

I think you are right. Sounds like the piece doesn't fit quite right or tight enough.
