I have a 99 RX 300, and i was wondering are the doors support to lock automatic
when you put it in gear. My Silverado does it . I'm I missing something?

 

Earlier models (and later models too) have what we call CBest settings. The early model 99RX, the CBest settings were programmed by the dealer. Later models allowed the owner to set some on their own.

I never went to the dealer to have the auto-lock on drive feature. If I am not mistaken, you can ask the dealer [noT for fee] to have the Cbest setting changed.

Big oops ... I dont think they will do it for free ... but you can always ask specially when and if you take it in for service.
