hey guys i have a 1999 rx300 awd i recently picked up last month and i tried to smog it today 4/1 but it failed smog due to the CEL po300,301,325,330 i need help on how to fix it and i noticed my rx300 drives kind of draggy and it takes a lot of gas. thanks

First, clear all codes and then on first onset of cel get a read.

Is the car running rough? If it is, it's probably a bad cylinder 1 coil. Clear the codes and see what comes back.

I replaced all the coils and then the cel came back on then the cel started blinking.. I have't got to check the cel yet but i will later on today

Also just got a PO 300 but I also have a 1305.

What's the ussue...s

On the front bank (underneath the engine cover), check the ignition coil furthest to the left, known as cylinder #2. Switch the coils with another one on the same front group of 3 and see if you get a different code than P1305. It can be the coil itself, but it can be the electrical connection on the coil in this particular case.

ohhhh man...Didn't get the reply so I switched out the #5
with the 2....now I get 1320 and after a bit more research
that's the #5...yes?
wasn't so bad getting back there. I took the 5 on 1305 to
mean #5...lol
So in essence...the 1305 being #2 coil...was the bad one.
This is the 3rd coil I have to change this year.

I've only had to replace one and that was because I put too much carb cleaner into the throttle body one time. I actually had to modify a coil for a Camry at Toyota (was in Mexico at the time) to be able to work with the RX300 until I could get a new one (no Lexus there until at least 2012).
