My 2000 Lexus RX300 does not lock or unlock on the driver's side with my remote. It will lock and unlock with the key. What's the problem? Carl

Your door lock actuator just bit the dust. The cheapest solution is the piggyback.

Since he specifically mentions the drivers door, I take it that it unlocks the others. This is a fairly common failure and a lot has been written about it here on this forum.
