it depend who makes it ... i belive mine is made by sonar and havent had a problem yet....

 

Mine looks like those, but they pretty much all look similiar. Mine was off Ebay and they have worked fine for 2+ (almost 3) years now. The "good" ones have the resistors built in so that that 'blown tailight' indicator is not tripped because LED have less current draw, so the system will think the light blew. The turn signal is still the normal bulb, but I put in LED in mine also and got the load resister for the turn signal.

If it's plug-n-play and you know how the light removal is, the install takes about 20 min for both sides... a little more if you're not familiar with the rear light removal.

 

i also have tail lights like those from ebay. they are really bright even though i smoked them. mine still work.
