Child seats for 2002 RX 300
Does anyone have a childseat (front facing for a toddler) that they would recommend for the 2002 RX 300? Or, has anyone had problems with a particular model...i.e. didn't fit? We haven't picked up the car yet, and the dealer didn't know whether it's equipped with the new LATCH tether system for child seats. Does anyone know if it is? Thanks for any help and advice you can offer.

LATCH stands for Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren. '01-'02 RX 300s have the Latch system tether anchors, as well as Iso-Fix system bars. Look in your owner's manual under "Child".

I have a Britax Advantage that fits well and my son seems to like it. It also has the tether that latches to the provided anchors.

car seat recomendation
i havent shopped around for fit but
the cosco 3 in 1 car seat seems to fit well.
its about $130. adjusts from infant to 50+ lbs.
the lexus is great with the adjustable back rear seats so
i think most seat types would work pretty well.
id throw a towel under the seat for those inevitable spills.

Help. I have a 2003 RX 300 and nowhere can we find the anchors to install front facing child seats. We have two young grandchildren and need to find some way to anchor their seats. Where can I go to have them installed. Can they be installed?
