in the past week, I notice that my car began to make some noise when I accelerated the car. Then when I turn on the car, if the car make some unusual noise, I can see white steam coming out of back pipe (not every time). I did search online and found it's like exhaust leaking problem. Then today, when I try to turn it on, it just make some noise like gas leaking.

I made 2 youtube clips for reference. Any suggestion?

sounds like a starter gear issue, maybe a new starter is in order.

That was my initial thought as well, starter getting hung up on the flywheel.

Hard to tell over the web, I'd suggest having it towed in and getting it checked out.

Thanks for the reply. I did have some problem w/ the starter before. I did not finish the job at that time because of the stuck bolt. I already got the tool now and would like to change it today. I'll update it once I finish it.

just change the starter contact. now, there is no broken noise, only air leaking kind of noise. I upload another video on youtube.


UPDATE: just change the whole starter, it's normal now.
