Unhappy Best car scratch remover?

Some jerk decided to draw a fat line across my '99 RX from the tail light all the way to the head light. The ends of the scratch are touching the lights. Woohoo! I have no idea why. But it's really distracting so I need to get rid of it.

I was thinking about getting Simoniz Fix It (the one seen on TV advertised by Billy Mays) but I've read tons of crap reviews on it. This is what I found online so far to be the best QUIXX.

Is it worth ordering online or have you guys had good experiences with whatever that's found in automotive stores and shops?

Edit: Why isn't this thread showing up...?

If it's a deep scratch, there's not much you can do about it. Try this:

https://www.asseenontvadvisor.com/bu...=&refcode=gFI1

and if that doesn't work, you can CAREFULLY try scratch remover (rubbing compound), but this frequently makes it worse than it was (if it's a deep scratch).

Is it just in the clear coat? Or did it remove some of the color as well?

If it's just in the clear, take it to a detailer, won't charge you more than $50 to remove it, and it will be done right.

If it went through to the color, you could try filling the scratch with touchup paint, wetsanting with 1500 grit and using some 3M scratch remover to shine it up...

Either way, you're always gonna see it =/

Default Quixx

Quixx is an amazing product, it really works. Used it on my '02 RX300 and it actually removes minor scratches. I never tried the sandpaper for deep scratches as mine were minor issues. Apparently it fuses the existing paint into the scratched surface.

I use 3M imperial hand glaze. It can remove small scratch. I bought it from Pep boy. GL
