Lexmex- I would think that windshield urethane would do the job if anything would- that is some tough stuff!

We can certainly try that in the future. I guarantee you for as much as a PITA it was go get that arm off (those bolts are major tight), I would use a filler in a second.

i have some slop when i turn the steering wheel,like a hesitation before any reaction.. I live in panama and parts are expensive and difficult to find,,i'm in the process of re-bushing sway bars, suspension links,and such..the ole gal has 300,000 kilometers on her and looks new in and out now..so the remanufacturing process is a work in progress. I've got some shifting issues also,,over drive doesn't always kick in..did the clean and filter change,,and the analyzer shows i need to replace the knock sensors..any suggestions and advice is appreciated..jim

It seems as though I put more time searching here and on line than wrenching !!

Jim ... I have not shopped for suspension bushings for RX, but typically the bushings are not available for replacement. You have to buy the whole arm as an example.

Some after market stuff is available by Prothane or Diazen (not sure what they make for RX), but they can squeek and need lubing regularly.

Let us know what you find out.
