2001 RX300, 214k (km) AWD, 3rd owner, first order of business was to clean the cabin filter which had never seen the light of day. Next resolve the antenna issue (mast on order). I can see a long list that needs to be taken care of as the days unfold to make it 'my suv'.

Default I just passed 200,000 on my 2000 RX300

I bought this vehicle used but previously owned a 94 SC400 and my son has a 93 ES300. I have loved them all. I'm currently looking for another RX300 for my wife.

Just bought a replacement 300 to replace my previous 300 that unfortunately got totaled out in a accident last month. Picked the second one up today. It ihas a few things that need to be done to make it even better. For one; there are 2 doors that have power door lock motors that are dead that need to be replaced; and i also need to get a master key cut and programmed(the one for the keyless entry with the 3 buttons on it). As right now I only have the one key that that vehicle came with which is the small valet key. Oh and yes by the way this one has just a little under 131,000 miles on the clock and i hope to keep it to at least 250,000 before i decide if i want to replace it with something newer. But witrh the adding up of miles comes of course more wear and tare and more stuff eventually needing attention. But thats just the way it is with older vehicles even if they are lexus.

EDIT: this 300 went back to lot it came from and money was gotten back. Too many problems with it that were not disclosed by the people at the car lot which i am bit disgusted about. FIrst check engine light came on twice while driving; then; oil light started to blink. Had to put in a bottle just to get to where i was going.

I swear if i didnt have bad luck trying to find a decent one with almost no issues; then i wouldnt have any at all.

Default 1999 rx 300 awd @ 176,000

Bought used with about 173000 miles, now has over176000 and running great. I replaced all oils with synthetic, transfer case, trans, engine, rearend. And I put new ceramic brake pads and slotted and drilled rotors all around. Very pleased with the car and enjoy working on it.

My mechanic suggested the Rotors and break pads change and looking forward to change them. What would be the best place to buy ceramic brake pads and slotted and drilled rotors and how much would it cost me.

I bought my ceramic pads and front rotors (drilled and slotted) off eBay. The rear ones (slotted only) from Rockauto on clearance real cheap, shipping cost more than the rotors did, think they were $39 with the shipping.

Just last week. Engine replaced at 72k, original transmission. As soon as it hit 300k, the VVT-i solenoid decided life was not worth living. Now that it's been replaced, life is good again. <Knock on burlwood trim>

Running very well.. I'll be due for brakes in the spring, thinking about drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads.

Well; Im still waiting to find one with only minor issues that can be remedied fairly quickly. Ive been looking for almost a month to no avail. However i did find and go and see one today that i wouldnt mind but the dealer wants too much for it. Its a 01 with 149,000 on the clock. Has the touch screen nav system/audio controls etc. and the wood rimmed steering wheel and shift level. Black with tan interior. Its one i like but again dealer wants too much for it.

300,000 miles, wow, nice job. You must maintain the hell out of your vehicle. I think that is the highest on here.

My 2000 RX 300 AWD has 167,000 and still quite nice. Tranny blew at around 110,000 and cost me a bundle, but I now have a lifetime warranty on that. Power antennae is noisy, driver's door lock subject to temperature,(I will get around to lubing it some day). fixed saggy driver's sun shade with rare earth super magnet, driver's seat needs a side panel, and otherwise, she's humming along no problem. Love it, and just installing a dash cam.

188k on my 2002. Just got first paint scratch
Runs perfect. Standard maintenance. no tranny or engine problems.
DIY- antenna 3 times, rear lift gate shocks once.
Now that gas is $2.00 we are driving it more as it sure beat the comfort of our prius C!
