Security light won't go out...
 

I accidentally hit the panic button yesterday, something in my pocket held it down long enough to set it off. After I shut if off I did it on purpose to see what it took to make it go off (you have to depress it for several seconds to get to honk).

This morning the security light is on and won't go off. I don't have a clue as to why or if it's even related to the panic event, any ideas?

Call your service advisor and he should be able to walk you through the steps over the phone.

I vaguely recall inserting both master keys one after another.

I couldn't get it to go out so when I took it in for an oil change today I asked them to reset it or whatever they do.

Well, they couldn't do it! They said they had never seen that before and had no idea how to reset it because it wasn't throwing any codes. They kept it back there for two hours jacking with it and finally, one of them pulled the battery cable for 15 seconds and it went off and stayed off.
