My 1999 RX300 has wet rear seat floor mats. It appears the water is coming in from the bottom up as the removable mats are only wet on the bottom. Any suggestions as to where the water is coming from?

Does the air condictioner drain appear connected and functional? It's located near the front passenger's feet, near the console and drains under the passenger firewall

Might also check for missing body plugs under the body..

For water to rise up (work against gravity) you must be sloshing through 8"-1ft of standing water.

Most likely the source is above the foot well level.
1, Check front foot wells.
2 check trunk area.
3 Center console
5. sun roof.
