Dear All this is my first participate in this forum. well, I bought my care from lexus agency in Saudi Arabia, but there was no navigation system , so , is there any possibillity that i can add a nivigation system to my car.

 

It is not impossible but you need a lot of money to do it.

I had a friend from college who later went back to the UAE who had this same problem. The problem I wonder is if they have the maps for Saudi Arabia on the Lexus GPS system. For instance, with the vehicles that Toyota sells in Mexico, none come with GPS since there are no maps. I do not doubt that there are for Saudi Arabia or even Mexico in my case (as I have seen them and they still are not very good) just that you need to get one like a Garmin GPS and mount it on top, but again where to get the map software is the question. thanx alot .... actullay the saudi Arabia map is there in GPS all lexus models 2004 and above has GPS with Saudi map , also BMW , BENZ , and so many other cars.

 

It is a big retrofit. We have discussed it here a few times, but the cost would run several thousand dollars as a lot needs to be changed around to make it work.

In my case with Mexico, the maps are so poor in quality and even with Mexico City all of the streets are not shown. There are some systems that use a laptop, but who wants to have one of those sticking around in the vehicle.
