Default Factory Navigation is working again!

We have a 2003 RX300 with factory navigation ..... the car has about 58,000 miles and has never been in a wreck or flood ..... we purchased it new ..... about two weeks ago, we were using the navigation and turned on the POI ..... all was fine for a few minutes, then the map screen went blurry ..... it corrected itself after a 1-2 minutes and worked for another hour or so ..... it went blurry again and has stayed that way!
All the other functions are come up on the screen and are working ..... radio, heater, air conditioning, temperature, mileage calcuator, etc ..... just no map.
When we touch the "Accept" button on the warning screen, the blurred screen comes up for a few seconds and then goes back to the warning screen .....
Any help will be appreciated .....
Thank you, RX4FUN

While waiting in the car yesterday, we were playing with the navigation and noticed that when we pushed the POI button, the navigation displayed a map of where we were ..... so we turned the POI on and off a couple of times to see what would happen figuring it was faulty anyway and we could not hurt it ..... and since it quit while using the POI feature a week or two ago the map became blurred ..... we also recalibrated it ..... To shorten a long story, it started working again ..... probably some sort of operator error?

A special thanks to HarrierAWD and Tammy .....

Still under warranty? Dealer item for sure... The screen is self contained as far as focus is concerned. More than not, it's the display bad.

Try pop out the Nav DVD and reload. Take it to the dealer if that doesn't help.
