Lexus RX 1st-Gen Paint Codes & Media Archive

http://www.toyotareference.com/charts/RX99.png

Here is the chart of color for the 1st-Gen US-Spec RX. If you see an error please post it here and I will correct the page and graphic ASAP. You can upload a photo of your car by clicking on the graphic, then clicking on the appropriate camera icon next to your color.

If you need me to update the chart please post your model year (or production date), color code and a description or photo of your car. For now this is for US-Spec cars only, I will add other countries in the future.

On the RX330, Crystal White (062) was also available in 2004.
Otherwise, it looks good as far as I know!

Can you please tell me whether or not there is a paint code for the matte silver metallic color that is in the interior of the RX 330?

Thank you.

Hey guys, paint information for the 2007 Toyotas was released through the Toyota USA fleet page, but nothing on the 2007 RX yet. Does anyone have the scoop on the color availability for the 2007 model yet?

spinout180 06-06-06 10:10 AM

My bad, the Lexus site does have the non-hybrid 2007 colors up... nothing changes for 2007. I split the hybrids to a seperate chart since they are available in more limited colors. They don't have official hybrid colors for 2007 up yet, but since there are no changes for the non-hybrid I am assuming the same for hybrids. Let me know if there is a change.

im a little confused, on the charts it doesn't show a white for '99. my friend has a '99 lexus rx300 and its white and some darker color on the lower pieces like bumpers. looking for the paint codes for both colors if u could help.

spinout180 07-05-06 09:38 PM

Hmmm... maybe you could get the color code off of the production label in the driver's door jamb? It is the first three characters after "C/TR". That would help us fix this!

Is the Burnished Gold and Golden Pearl the same color?

spinout180 09-20-06 01:54 PM

No, they are two different colors which is why they have two different color codes (the three-character code in parentheses next to each color name).

LiqrSicc 09-21-06 09:49 AM

Grreat, I cant tell which color my car is from the sample pics. They both look the same

POp open your driver's door, look for the production label attached to the door jamb (or possibly the door) near the latch mechanism. You will see a heading called C/TR on the label. The three-character color code will be right after that heading and will tell you which color you have.

just walked outside and I did follow your instruction. Found out it's 057. Which is "golden pearl". My car is White Pearl. Are they the same? thanks.

Do you KNOW it is White Pearl? I wonder what part of the country you are in. SET (SE Toyota) is a seperate distributor than Toyota USA and sometimes renames the colors of the cars in their computer systems. We use the official Toyota USA names for each color code, but in many cases there are multiple names for each code. For example, 202 is Black Onyx on Lexus cars, but just Black on Toyotas. The important thing to know is the color code, as that stays constant.

traderSPY 09-26-06 12:29 AM

Ah-HAH! I just noticed you are in GA, so you DID buy from SET and they probably changed yet another color name to confuse the issue. Haha, it was a good guess. Sometimes I impress myself.

ktranne 09-26-06 08:04 AM

so, 057 IS White Pearl?

I have a 99 Rx300 w/o spoiler. It's one of those DYI......

thx.
