I am so dadgummed tired of the buzzing bee rattle in my 1999 RX300 in the right front dash, seat, door or wherever the crap rattle is located. I have taken it to the dealer so many times and they always claim to fix it and it still rattles right after leaving the shop. I even took it to a guy who specializes in eliminating rattles and he can't find or fix it.

This same crappy rattle was in my wife's 1997 Toyota Avalon, my 1999 RX300 and also my wife now has a 2003 ES300 and it's developing the same rattle.

When oh when and what is it going to take for Lexus to get it through their thick skulls that this crap has to stop? I know one thing, first Lexus I bought shame on Lexus, second one I bought shame on me for being so stupid to do so. There are too many other brand of cars available who are just as good or better quality than Lexus's for lots less money.

All of you that are 'dyed in the wool' Lexus lovers regardless of how many rattles, jerky hesitating transmissions, etc., that claim Lexus is the most quality built vehicle, and I don't care what J.D. Powers claims are, that is not a gold standard to measure quality by because Powers ratings are slapped on most vehicle that has a bumper on both ends.

Yep, I am really ticked off because Lexus can't fix what they sell.

Yes, these cars had them when new. Even my wife's 2003 ES300 has the same rattles. Buzzing bee rattles and sunshade rattles. I haven't found a Lexus dealer yet who can fix them. They should have never left the factory like that. But they're still building 'em with the same rattles.

There is a lot of information in CL on these rattles on RXs, searches should locate them, good luck. Check out the TSBs too.

I have the same problem on my 2001 RX. With the stereo on or off. The front doors just start buzzing. If you hold your arn against the door it goes away. Ive searched all over. Its been to the shop. The only thing cure I have found. Is to turn the stereo up a little louder. Good Luck

YES...................a really good stereo cures a lot of the annoying problems of squeaks, rattles, hums, buzzing, etc. Just crank it up.

Unfortunately I have at least two of these annoying buzzes right now in the passenger seat front right area and somewhere in the rear right side panel sort of near the seat belt. I need to find them and get them fixed at the next service in a few months.

Good luck PARULA if you get the rattles fixed. You will be among a rare few that gets them 'fixed'.
