Question 2000 and 2001 RX300 AWD Front Strut Differences

I am planning to replace the front struts on my 2000 RX300 AWD. I was hoping to replace the front struts with a Monroe Quick Strut but according to the data on Monroe's website there is no front strut option for 2000 RX300 AWD. Monroe does have a strut option for the 2001 RX300 AWD. I asked the shop that will be doing the work about this part problem and I was provided the Monroe part numbers 172102 and 172101 which are for the front struts for a 2001 RX300 AWD. Does anyone know if there is a physical or mechanical difference in the strut assemblies between a 2000 RX300 AWD and a 2001 RX300 AWD?

Spring rate was changed in 01-03 vs 99-00 (spring has different part number), probably made either stiffer or softer. You'll be fine swapping between the two as the shock length, spring perches and other hardware are identical.
