I have Android Head Unit installed on my RX300 and I have existing Dash Camera. Now I want to connect Backup/Rear Camera on these Android Head Unit and Dash Camera. Because I dont want to install a new rear Camera (two rear camera on my rear trunk) it is so messy. So when I reverse the Car, it show up both Android Head Unit and Dash Camera Screen with one rear camera only. I think that wire a new RCA cable and connect to Android Head Unit it will work. I did not test it yet. Could you recommend or any idea about this connection. Thanks!

 

I have both but depends what you think you will use. You still need to get the power and cables to ceiling and to rear for the mirror but buy a 12''.

The android versions cost 2 x price.
The center console androids also control the aircon and cost 5 to 10 x times the price depending on size and features.

Still have to wire in rear cameras.

If you have the mirror eg 12" you are better off not pointing it to the ground for parking but as a rear camera to see more that what you would from cabin alone. Features you want parking / full screen rear with split screen option/ G sensor accident prevention / front + rear cameras.

The android is better off for parking use camera pointed to see the cars angles and what you can't see from cabin.
Features you want parking / aircon / rear camera / video in / video out (which is USB cable to rca /hdmi) / accident prevention / front + rear cameras.
