1 - The seat bolstering and stiff suspension might be a bit too much for some for long drives especially 6+ hours. I personally don't ever find long drives an issue, but I only drove for 3 - 4 hours only once or twice in 4+ years. Did you try using normal mode to get the dampers to soften up?
2 - Steering should feel tighter as tighter as it is progressive resistance as you apply lock especially in SPORT+. What mode did you use? I never use Sport mode or lower as the steering really sharpens up in sport+ mode. Use TVD in slalom mode. It makes the steering noticeably faster especially off-center in tighter turns. Also, check your tire pressure since steering feel, road feel, precision and sharpness greatly depends on what type of tires you have and how the tire inflation is. Another thing is, once the sidewall loads up after you have turned the car and as the G-forces build, the sidewalls can start squishing, which is what translates to the "loose" feel. I got extra load version PS4S tires for that exact reason. I can only speak for the SL PSS my RCF came with. Not sure about the SL PS4S on the 2020+ RCF. I would recommend trying 39 PSI rear and 37 PSI front cold. That is my favorite combination. It makes the steering load up very nicely especially at higher speeds.

thanks rolla, I’ll adjust suspension setting tomorrow. Currently I’m using normal not soft.
I use normal mode all day, doing break in progress during this trip. Tomorrow I have another 6h driving, I’ll change tvd setting tomorrow.

todays feeling might come from windy weather.
Unfortunately, from what I read, 2017+ AVS has only two base level settings and then it dynamically adjusts using intelligence up to 30 ways from data collected from driver aggression and the surface condition. SPORT+ is stiff and SPORT, NORMAL, ECO are soft. I don't believe there is any intermediate setting between stiff and soft. Someone with 2017+ RCF can confirm, but that is what I read from a scan another member posted here. My non-AVS behaves only one way regardless of surface condition LOL
Also, try adjusting your seat bolstering especially the lumbar support. You need to make sure the lower back/lumbar adjustment is supporting your lower back. Back gets tired more quickly when it is not supported properly. I usually keep the back upright and the lumbar setting fully bulging out to push the lower back in to mimic the chest out/ lower back in/shoulder back like stance while sitting (I did a lot of bodybuilding/weight training before COVID so I used to use that stance a lot especially while curling using a belt to make sure lower back does not arch out taking the stress. Hope that helps.

In other words, the Variable part of Adaptive Variable Suspension just kinda doesn't exist. It sure is adaptive but it sure ain't all that variable. Also, yes, lumbar support can be uncomfortable at first but when you get used to it, it's quite nice. I personally don't go all the way because it just feels weird, but about halfway helps my back out some. The preference really just changes per person.

It does in the sense you can soften it in NORMAL/ECO and even SPORT. Then, stiffen it in SPORT+. However, it still monitors how aggressive the driver is as well as what the surface conditions are and would still make adjustments 30 way even in SPORT+ in order to make the ride quality smooth.
If you don't mind telling what was the rought cost of getting the entire car done. If I knew someone that could do this around me I'd do it. I'm just worried about cut marks or someone not doing it correctly.

That's my fear, if the wrap every comes off, the clear coat is all cut marks. But love the look as well.

total cost 8k including ceramic coating.
shop is xtreme auto details.
exotic auto details gave me quote 8k , but they only provided suntek and couldn’t start my car earlier.
they tucked all edges, hard to see edges if you stand 0.5 meter away.
will post more pictures tonight. 13h driving is killing me. And bug guts all over the front bumper🤢🤢🤢🤢.
for wrap, they took out some parts first then clean it, polish it, put ppf on it. After that, put ceramic coating.
🤔 for the price, i only asked these 2 shops. You can check fairfax area. I believe there are some certified installers around that area. Certified installers can provide you 10years warranty.
Whole process needs 10 to 15days, but they are busy. So you may need to wait 30 - 60 days.

When you said Fairfax, I had a moment...lol. I'm in Gainesville VA, so 20 minutes from Fairfax. Totally awesome!
Just googled them and they are located in Sterling; Noice! Was there anyone specifically you worked with there? From reading the reviews it looks like a ultra sonic blue rcf was also done there and mike helped them out.
I honestly think your car looks better than the fugi/track edition. You have the awesome matte look but having the hood not be cf makes it look so much nicer.

Thanks Nigel. I don't like track edition's red interior and fixed rear wing either.
I saw that blue RCF in our forum threads before, here is the link https://www.clublexus.com/forums/aut...ear-bra-2.html
you can find his post in this link. He did suntek with American Shine and chrome delete with Xtreme auto details.
Xtreme auto details is a family business I believe, you can have a talk with Mike for details.
Xtreme auto details doesn't have vinyl wrap. So if you want to do vinyl wrap first, you need to find another shop.
ultra white color + xpel stealth = Satin Matte finish
If you don't want to do ppf, you can do a satin matte vinyl wrap.
The satin looks awesome. Not too many people using Xpel Stealth on our cars for a satin finish, mostly just regular satin wrap. Curious to see what it would look like on a Ultrasonic Blue RCF.

Lots of blue teslas are being wrapped with xpel stealth and for me, it looks like hot garbage. You can google xpel stealth wrap on blue car and you will see a bunch of examples.
