2015 RCF Long Start

Has anyone had trouble with a long start on their RCF? It started about a week ago. It's taking about 3 to 4 seconds on a cold start. I tried running a couple tanks with injector cleaner...hasn't helped yet. I did read something about changing out the battery. Not sure because it has a good charge. Any suggestions?????

How many miles? Probably your spark plugs need to be replaced at high mileage? Mine has 10,000 miles on it and this is how it starts:

It has 60k. Plugs really shouldn’t need to be changed until a little later right.

I'm at ~15,000 and same start for me as 05RollaXRS

Battery is probably failing

Lexus can test the battery to see if it’s good or not. I noticed the first time my card was hard to start told them during my oil change visit they tested the battery and it failed. Replaced under warranty.

Mine had this after sitting, I'm betting battery.

I may be wrong but I think I saw somewhere 60K for plugs.

I will probably do mine around 30K, but I am a maintenance weirdo...lol.

Maintenance manual suggests replacing them at 60k miles.

Dude!! Once again, that sounds absolutely fantastic Rolla!!
Wise choice other than the Armytrix system you initially wanted. Your Invidia was my 2nd choice for sure! Love it man!

*Tried loading my cold start but keep getting error msgs*

No - Your plugs are due for changing. Read your manual.

Starter isn't spinning fast enough from a weak battery. You would see and feel if your plugs were bad. You would see bad fuel mileage, feel it in the sit of your pants, poor performance. Have dealer or parts store perform a load test on the battery.

This does not reflect my experience with worn out plugs. A battery load test is prudent, but your plugs are at the recommended change interval. I would start there if for no other reason than they are due for replacement under normal operating conditions.
