Lexus USDM CFRP hood (53301-24070)
I was the lucky one who purchased the used USDM CFRP hood (53301-24070) from Lexus of Lehigh Valley, PA for a cool $7k shipped freight to my door. The eBay one mentioned on post #8.

I heard the CF issue is a supply/back order deal that is holding up the TE cars from being allocated/delivered but who knows..

Some of you don't understand the idea of resale value. You buy an OEM piece, you know it's quality, it's going to be cheap to install cuz no headaches, and you know it'll be easy to recoup a good chunk of the initial pp.
Contrastingly, you buy some POS eBay unit thereby getting half-arsed results and face one heckuva time trying to get rid of it to other peasant-minded people.
I personally would never drop $10K on any hood on any make/model, but I wouldn't fault someone from going OEM - esp Toyota OEM parts.
