I own both. Bought the RCF brand new 3.5 years ago and the Hellcat challenger late 2016. Both are great cars. Two completely different cars. My RCF is modded with basically everything available aside from a supercharger. Quality and comfort the RCF is on another level than the hellcat. The hellcat is not easy to just cruise around. RCF is rarer but the hellcat gets way more attention anytime I drive it. The supercharger with an intake sounds like a jet taking off. If they were both sitting next to each other for the exact same price id get the RCF. Especially if you plan to keep it. The hellcat is faster all day in stock form and is far less to mod and get 800hp under $2k. Tires, GAS, and oil changes add up very quick, VERY QUICK! Sometimes I get 120 miles on a full tank (18 gallons) on the Hellcat. Ive had zero problems with both cars so far but long term id trust the RCF any day. Technology, transmission, engine is better in the hellcat but interior materials arent even close to the RCF. So my vote would be the RCF. Hellcat is blast to drive as a second car. Not so fun as a daily as its a little in your face.

Trying to pursue the 2700 mile one on autotrader now. Have not heard back from the seller.

Looking for a performance package car and this looks to be one. I guess you can get the TVD without the performance package? Also looks to have the headlight upgrade. Sorry still learning all the packages and options.

Only early 2015 models had it as a stand-alone while they were trying to figure out some issues with the carbon fiber looming process. From late 2015 onwards, you will not find it as a stand-alone.

TVD is a package with the carbon fiber as all of it lowers center of gravity of the car as the CF roof is 16 lbs lighter than the steel roof and TVD unit is heavier than the LSD unit so it takes off weight from the top and adds more to the bottom.

Thank you Rolla. The one I am waiting to hear back from looks like your twin.

You will be happy with your choice. BTW, if it is a 2017+ then you get adjustable variable suspension (AVS) as well that is not available on the earlier versions.

What Year is this Molten F you are looking at? NO ONE knows that car better than our Man with a Plan = Rolla! You are in great hands if getting his "Twin" SKGT (Except he has a 2015-which he described a difference to the 17+ Models.

It is a 15. Private seller and I will have to fly and drive it home or have it delivered. If they even reply and can work on the price a little, asking is 48.7

Even nation wide I'm not finding many moltens for sale, much less with the carbon/perf package, which this one has

It is even more rare in my city. I believe, I am the only one with a Molten Pearl RCF + Carbon/TVD model. It makes my car like a unicorn LOL

OP...looks like you are pursuing the purchase of an RCF...good choice and let me tell you I know as I owned a 2017 Hellcat Challenger (traded in my 2015 RCF to buy it). At 707hp it was pretty cool and a lot of fun to drive when you wanted to go out and be BRASH...but depending on who you are that may not always work and did not for me. I went through a couple of other cars afterwards and now own a 2019 10th Anniversary Edition as the RCF checks more boxes (in my financial plan) than any other car made.

Here is a pic of my HC at No Fly Zone...stupid easy to smoke the tires

Make sure the car is warmed up before you play in S+ manual shift. It's laggy when it's cold and a lot of people make early assumptions before they can truly experience the car.

Yeah, good point. It takes forever to warm up, but it is necessary since the transmission will auto shift at 4000 rpm even in manual mode if the redline is not fully up to 7300 rpm.

I have yet to hear back from the guy on the 2,700 mile one. It had everything too. The search continues.

I been lurking around this forum but was never registered. I saw your post and thought to let you know the seller probably forgot to take the listing off because I had bought a molten pearl RCF with the same vin number 2 weeks ago lol
