Why no more obsidian black on the 2018 and 19s?

Why no more obsidian black on the 2018 and 19s?
I was just building one on the site and noticed they got rid of the color as a option for the rcf only.

It was replaced with Caviar. I don't know what the difference is. I can't tell from the computer screen.

I just called and spoke to the CEO of Lexus and he told me they ran out at the RCF plant. So that is why.

Obsidian is a deep black, caviar has a metallic look and it looks dark grey at times.

I have an obsidian RCF and a caviar RX, the obsidian is a better looking colour imo. Sad to hear they ended it

I agree, it just looks more aggressive. I don't get why they only discontinued it on the rcf

Now you most definitely need to share that contact number with us. I'd like to know why they chose "Orange" for RCF Calipers!
