Not sure why there would be a power loss? Great sound but I agree the price is too high.

It is designed with focus to achieve the high pitched noise Novel is known for. It has narrow diameter in certain areas that actually ends up restricting the engine even more.

Thank you for the explanation. The lower performance and price is not for me. But the sound quality it produces is amazing.
