it's 2019, if you don't see any......you should be fine. Honestly, it's just not that kind of car. It should be very solid. No "known issues" happening across broad numbers of cars that I am aware of. No rod bearings, rear subframes, electrical failures etc.

I think we had brake squeal (pad choice not a defect), transmission reprogram to address a hesitation and a fuel pump recall.

I have taken the car to the track and drag strip several times and done a few mods. I had an exhaust installed when the car reached 25k miles, headers and RR racing tune at 65k miles, two piece lightweight rotors and coilovers at 70k miles. I’ve gone through 7 sets of tires. Overall the experience of owning this car has been exceptional.

What does the 60K and 100K mile service include?

I just bought an L certified 2015 RCF with 6k miles. Drove it 900 miles home and have since put a lot more miles on it. Only 1 month into ownership but looking at the history no major issues reported. I do plan on keeping it for a long time, which is why I went with RCF over C63 or M4.

Only issue I’ve had was the speed sensor going bad, a couple other people had same issue, but other than that it has been amazing.

The 60k mile service consist of your standard service plus spark plug replacement and differential fluid check and some other engine checks. The 100k mile service is the same as any other service with the added cost of a coolant flush.

Good to know, thanks.

Are the transmissions in these cars drain and fill? Or are they a sealed unit that don't need servicing?

There is no scheduled maintenance for the transmission. There is a huge thread in the IS F forum discussing this approach.

Default Updates

Any new mileage updates? My 2015 rcf has over 67k miles, no issues other than a weak battery that just needed replacing recently. Would love to hear some recent updates on mileage and ownership...

Still at just under 11K and zero issues. Everything is very tight and snug with a brand new feel to it. Brakes still at 6 mm all around. Need new tires, which I will get next spring.

I just hit 62,500 miles. I have a ton of Mods, mostly track use for the last 6 months and the only issue I had was AC related. My AC wasn't working and it was a solenoid that Lexus replaced under warranty. No other issues at this time.

Not sure 11k is considered high mileage.

It is good to hear the reports from people approaching or over 100k miles that they've been relatively problem free. A buddy of mine is considering picking up an ISF with over 200k miles and an extremely thorough maintenance record. I'd like to see some RCFs approach that one day.

Almost reaching 50k. I drive it everyday and no problem except the following things:

1. Recall: Fuel pump (replaced it about 2 years ago)
and made humming noise few months ago but fixed under warranty. It was fuel pump again.

2. When I use defroster or change temperature, AC wont blow again. Sounds like vents are not opening. When I changed temp high to low, it wouldn't change. They replaced two servo motor and fixed.
few month ago, it was doing same thing and dealer ended up replacing all 6 servo motors and it works perfectly fine now.

It was covered under warranty.

Other than that its running strong and healthy. No other issues.
