Not an RCF review, but a great review with common elements. I agree TVD is my favorite part of the car second only to the engine

I think GSF is my favorite current Lexus.

I do miss my RCF at times. It's got a wonderful engine and a highly underrated gearbox with an unapologetically JDM design. The Aisin unit deserves as much love as the universally acclaimed ZF 8-speed. Having now put on 10K miles on my modified 1+ year old M4, comparatively, I can undoubtedly state the obvious that it's a lighter, tauter, more motorsport sledgehammer of a car, but that's not the be-all, end-all for many auto enthusiasts. That Toyota 5.0 V8 is more fun to rev up and it sounds the part.

I'm not surprised by that review. Enjoy your RCF, guys. Make no bones about it, it's a dope machine.

Hey CYKBC. I was coincidentally looking at the M4 before I decided to purchase your old RC-F from Uda880. I definitely felt the same way comparing the two cars but the F fit my needs better which is why I went with it and I haven't regretted it since!

How's the M4 treating you and do you have any pics? :)

Matt hits the nail right on the head. Sometimes, it feels like stole my thoughts having owned an RCF for 1 year now.

Interestingly, GSF is 193 inches long and ~4140 lbs yet, Matt is having a blast blowing through those turns. He never mentions the weight. Just goes to show the engineering that went into the car to make it handle tight turns like that (with the TVD of course).

im a coupe guy and love my RCF but the GSF is a better car IMO

RCF is stiffer, smaller and a bit lighter so it does better on the track, but practicality/performance balance wise, GSF is the better car. For me, the styling and the size were the two main determining factor (I was holding out for an RCF sedan that never came).

Great video, GSF is certainly a nice car. You've probably seen this one, interesting that he didn't seem to care so much for the tvd as in the GSF. But he overall praised the RCF as well. Maybe his reviewing style has changed in the two years

Yeah, remember those. He is casually driving and kind of boring. The GSF video is much more exciting where he is really keeping the revs up. Still like the fact that he said RCF (at that time in 2015) was better than the C63 and RS5 and only M4 was the only plausible better car.

I thought it was a great review. His comments about the infotainment system was a little mediocre but he said he could live with it lol.. Looks like a fun car to drive especially in the California hills.

05RollaXRS, I know you are a big fan of the TVD but RR penske coilovers is truly a game changer. It takes the RCF to a completely mind boggling level when it comes to handling.

Yeah, I know for a track oriented suspension, there are no doubts about that. TVD on OEM suspension is like the compromise between handling and street drivability.
